CDI installations

For industrial, building and demolition waste, Walair delivers several possibilities for air separation systems. With the Walair drum separator a waste stream of cdi waste can be split in two streams. For example, stone and wood is separated from paper, plastic and foils. With the Walair 3-way drum separator it is possible to split a cdi waste in three waste streams. For example stone and wood from paper and plastic. Our air separators can handle material sizes of 10 till 500 mm. Capacities of 5 till 100 t/h. With broken stone and screened stone even capacities are possible till 250 t/h. For places where space is a problem, the Walair air separator can be a good solution. The air separator can split light material out of a heavy fraction. The light fraction is transported with a transport duct to a material or a rotary separator. The separator can be put at any place around the air separator (max. around 50 mtr) The air separator can also be directly connected to an air separator. This is a good solution when there is no room to place a 3-way separator. It is also possible to connect the Walair drum separators directly to aan optical sorter. With the use of air the material is well dosed and spread on the infeed conveyor of the optical sorter. Result, a better separation and a higher capacity of the optical sorter. With the optical sorter it is for example possible to separate wood from rest waste and paper from plastic.
